Red Carpet Decor

Sunday night was the kickoff to the 2017 award season with the 74th Annual Golden Globes.

Of course around any award show, all eyes are on the red carpet. However, it seems some of this years celebrities had their eyes in the kitchen, before they hit the carpet. Read below to see what we mean.

We've taken some of the best looks of the night and found the secrets to their inspired looks. We found home decor items you can have in your kitchen, that can make you feel like a star, and the dress they wore.

Sofia Vergara was killing it on the carpet in this Zuhair Murad dress. But we weren't surprised when the Modern Family actress hit the carpet, because she reminded us of these antique golden rose flatware set available on Etsy.

Amy Adams was all shiny and sleekly geometric in her Tom Ford dress, but we've seen that look before! In fact, we first fell in love with it when we saw these kitchen cabinet door knobs. These $40 pulls from House of Antique Hardware are giving us all of the same feels!

Emma Stone looked classic in this Valentino dress, luckily she didn't tumble down the red carpet though. Speaking of tumble, she may have stolen her look from this tumbler! (See what we did there!?) This click and seal tumbler we found on Amazon would be perfect filled with some whiskey stones. (See what we did there AGAIN!?)

Tracee Ellis Ross must really know that diamonds are a girls best friend. Her hands were dripping in them with rings by Noudar, L'Dezen, Hueb, Yeprem, and Kavant & Sharat. The rings also complemented the statue she won later in the evening, but we found where she got her idea for the look! These great napkin ring brooches from Shop Wild Things only cost $22, and can make you feel just as excited!

Sarah Paulson may have won for her role in The People vs. O.J. Simpson, but this Marc Jacobs number she wore has us hungry for more! Luckily my personal friend Darbie Angell has the exact dinnerware (and MANY more) than can satisfy your hunger! The Athena design in the line of CRU by Darbie Angell are the perfect placement for ANY meal, holiday, and event. There are a TON of options to choose from, at multiple affordable price points, and best of all, they are carried at a wide range of stores, which means there is NO reason your table and house shouldn't have a set of your own!

Speaking of friends, my and everyone's favorite funny girl (and new mom) Chrissy Teigen slayed the carpet in this Marchesa dress. Its shiny, formal and flirty fit, was perfect for the night. But so are these shiny, formal and floral-ish placemats. These Tommy Bahama placemats may not be as beautiful as CT, but knowing how she cooks and looks in this dress, if all 3 were in the room at the same time... we are pretty sure the world would end!

Carrie Underwood chose this dress last minute (the night before) and is one that has the fashion world divided. People aren't sure whether to love it or hate it as she has made some best dressed list, but also some worst dressed list. We say she should be on the list of "Dresses inspired by Lampshades". Clearly the inspiration for this look came from this feminine and sweet design from Land of Nod.

Perhaps the most... let's say... interesting look of the night came from Sarah Jessica Parker wearing a Fall 2017 Vera Wang Bridal gown, and hair in braids to match. Yet even still the look was... let's say hideous, there's always a better answer when it comes to home decor to match! This African mud cloth braided pillow is a much better option, and we are pretty sure its also more comfortable than SJP's ensemble.
